Unresponsive home button.

Intermittent response by the home button. What to do? I've tried alot of alternatives that I saw in the internet to fix this issue but still it's the same! Sometimes after doing some alternatives to fix it, it'll work well and it'll back again to it's intermittent response.

Have you also tried this?
Try to plug the USB cable into the iPad (No need to plug the other end to anything) and grip the part right where it is plugged into the iPad. Slightly bend it up towards the screen, just a little (You might even hear a click).

Go to Settings>Accessibility>AssistiveTouch. Put AssistiveTouch on. A white circle will appear click on Home to simulate the press of the actual Home button.
