Unable to move Joystick?

Hi guys, my iPad Pro 10.5 is about 2 years old. I’ve been playing a game that has joystick, but now joystick on screen moves a bit then with my finger then it disengages from from my finger, that stops the movement. I tried drag sensitivity and touch accommodations, still does the same thing. This iPad doesn’t have screen protector, the game joystick works fine on my iPhone. Is there something else I can do to fix this? thank you

Yes I have and does the same. I don’t play any game on iPhone, screen too small. One way I can play this, is on the big tv screen using iPhone and Apple TV, little costly but a fix.
