With the update to IOS 8, I am suddenly no longer able to upload photos from IPad2's photo app into One Drive. Anyone know how to cure this problem?

Open OneDrive on your iPad. Tap the "More" button at the upper right (the three dots). Choose "Add Items", then "Choose existing". This will show the albums in the Photo app. You're not able to access the Photos tab using this method.

That's how I was doing it before ISO 8. Now, I get all the way to the download part, but nothing happens. Doesn't even say "downloading photo". Nothing.

Here's what I've done to upload photos: in Files view, tap the More button, and select:

Next choice:

Select "Upload". The picture/s will start loading.

My iPad is up to date (iOS 8).

Hope that helps.

I disabled iCloud Drive - still possible.
Additionally:
Force closed apps, reset iPad - no change.

Good to know. Thanks.

I did not look as closely as I should have, and thought you were using the Photos app. No idea why. It's not even close. :(

You're able to see the albums of the Photos app in OneDrive as visible in my screenshot?

Here's another idea:
Access OneDrive on a browser (not Safari, but something like Puffin) and try to upload photos there.

Tried that too. Also sent note to MS support . Maybe they can help. Would really hate to quit one drive now. I have a ton of photos in it.

I hope they can help.

It seems that the change in the Photo app causes problems. I've seen complaints like yours about OneDrive, but it also seems that Flickr has issues with auto-uploading photos.
