Trojans or Spyware

I know apple claim that It's software is immune to spyware, but I have a problem with Safari on iPad2 which seems to have carried over with the migration from iPad1 where if I visit certains sites (legitimate news sites I have visited for years) they, after a few seconds redirect me to other sites for videos, gambling and porn. I also find that when in go back to the previous page of these newspaper sites they redirect me to yesterday's edition. i have to re-enter them afresh to get today's edition.

Does any one have an explanation, or even a solution, please?

I have yet to see any viruses on the iPad. Not to say it won't happen and not to say it has not happened.

Try this:

Hold the power button and the home button down at the same time until you see the Apple logo. Approx 10 seconds. Let the ipad reboot.

Let us know how this works for you!

Also, go into Settings > Safari > and clear Cookies and Data. See if that helps.
