Syncing interrupted

Did the setup on our new iPad2 this morning. After figuring out the syncing wasn't gonna be anywhere near done before I had to go to work due to so many songs, I canceled it. Didn't want to just leave it while I was gone. Will it pick right back up and sync everything when I plug it back in tonight? Does canceling midstream wipe out everything that was synced already so that it'll have to start from scratch?

No, but iTunes may verify the items on your iPad, before it's next sync. Next sync may be a little longer.

I've done it a few times.

The short answer is you will start from the beginning, it's not really something you can do half-way, always try to let it complete the cycle.
