rgtstuf911 I am new to the site and electronically challenged. I dropped my IPad into a snow bank today and can't get any sound. Someone suggested cleaning the connector. where is the connector? I told you I was challenged.

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

Now to your question, could your sound button have been turned off by the drop? It's just above the sound control, check to see if this is it. The connector they are probably referring to is the one you use to charge the iPad. Check to see if any debris has found it's way here or to the microphone jack which is on the top left of the iPad. Although I can't see how this could affect your sound. Check to make sure your speaker (bottom of iPad on the back) is clear. Did your iPad get wet at all?
