Safari Problem

Question from a rookie!

The Safari on my Ipad 2 is not quite behaving itself.

The screen goes grey, just as it would if I am entering text, and the screen do not respond to touch.

What is wrong, and how can I fix this?

Try holding the power button and the home button down at the same time until you see the Apple logo.

Let it reboot. See if this helps.
