Do any screen protecters also serve to cut down on the glare when using the new iPad outdoors?

My opinion is there is no anti glare. The difference is very minimum

Depends on where you live, light conditions, light types, etc.

The PowerSupport HD anti-glare protector does a good job on my iPhone 4s, and it reduces fingerprints a lot.
There is some loss of picutre quality however.

The iVisor AG helps some. The biggest advantage is virtually no fingerprints.
