Firemint announced today at Apple’s WWDC that Real Racing 2 HD will be the first iOS game to introduce completely wireless, big screen TV gaming, once iOS 5 is released later in the year. By harnessing the power of AirPlay in iOS 5 and using Firemint’s dual-screen technology, Real Racing 2 HD will be able to stream directly to your big screen TV, so that you can grip your iPad 2 and steer with unerring precision thanks to the freedom that wireless play brings. The display will be full screen, and totally borderless, with stunning 3D graphics, with the game also displaying real-time racing telemetry directly on the iPad screen.

Unfortunately you’ll have to wait until iOS 5 is released in the fall to be able to experience the wireless big screen gaming action, but now’s the time to get some practice in first, so if you don’t already have the game, you can click here to download it for $12.99: Real Racing 2 HD for iPad on the iTunes App Store

Looks great. I bet this is the first of many games to come out like this. I wonder how worried nintendo is?
