New member question....ipad started blanking out in the middle

F using safari, when I reopen safari it goes back to what I was viewing and may do it again and again? Any thoughts please?

Safari does that normally, unfortunately. Annoying. You might try other browsers. I can recommend Atomic, iCab or Terra. YMMV. There are plenty of browser choices in the app store.
