Greetings to everyone. I've already received the help for which I was looking (or at least fixed the specific problem for which I was looking for a solution) and between what I read and a little figuring-things-out-on-my-own, I was able to fix my iPad 2. I could not find a thread related directly to my iPad's problem, but as I've indicated "it" worked. I'm dyslexic, so I'm one who loves the spell correction and auto-correction on all my devices. After upgrading the iPad to iOS 5, auto-correct didn't work — system wide. So I followed some directions in a post from several months ago: I quit each all open applications, and reset the dictionary (just in case it was somehow involved), and now all is well. So thanks to...whoever answered the first question in the thread I was able to fix the device. I cannot thank "whoever" enough. When I'm through with this "New Member Introduction", I'll navigate back to the thread and thank the responsible member(S) myself. That is all, for now. — evenablindsquirrel

These are the hacking section rules for all you jail breakers (and would be jail breakers) http://www.ipadforums.net/ipad-hacking/2892-hacking-section-rules-please-read.html

We also have an app for this forum. A link to download the app is: Discussion Forum for iPad Users for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad on the iTunes App Store

If you have other Apple products or are interested in other Apple kit then why not join our sister forum too at http://www.appleforums.net/

Finally, if you still haven't had enough, how about a video explaining about our other forums (note:you may want to play this at half speed but hey, why shouldn't Phil be excited about our forums!)
