New iPads

Currently my wife has a iPad Mini 4 and I have an iPad 5. I got her a new iPad Mini 5 for Xmas and shockingly I won an iPad Pro 11" in a giveaway so now we both have new iPads.

For now I want to leave the data on both our old iPads (old & new) so when I go to transfer data to our new iPads will it still be on our old ones?

If you back up either of the old iPads to iCloud, you can set up a new iPad using that backup. The data will remain on the old iPad.

Thanks I wasn’t sure how to do this so I just restore or transfer from iCloud.

When you first set up your new iPad you will be given the option to "Set up as New" or "Set up from Backup". There will be a list of backups, so just choose the relevant latest one.
