New guy

Hi,

Just joined. I'm glad someone decided to put together a place like this as will allow us, Apple fans, to share experiences and hopefully help each other with those unavoidable 'glitches' that new technologies brings. Talking about 'glitches', I'm getting really disappointed lately with Apple's software QA. First, it was Lion that made many people unhappy because of it several initial shortcomings and incompatibilities. And now, looking at this and other Apple related forums, there are many people having trouble with the iOS 5 upgrade (including myself). Being a long time Mac user, I really got used to trust and just install any new minor or major upgrade being released. Now a days, I'm being more weary of those updates/upgrades and that's unfortunate, because quality was one of the bigger differentiators for this company. Enough of nags, but hopefully forums like will also help bring the voice of the users to Apple and trigger a more promptly response and fixes to issues being reported all over.

Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!
