You could use Bento. It has basic import and export of .cvs files via mail. If you own a Mac, it can be more fully synced with the OS X version.

It can suck contacts from Contacts, but does not have to. Up to you. And you can set up as many independent contact databases as you want.

It's actually a general database app, but has a good address book template; and you can tweak it almost any old way. You can also passcode lock each database individually.

Still, that may be overkill for what you want.

Another product that I find intriguing, but have no excuse to use is Evernote Hello. That might be worth your time to look at, especially if you are already an Evernote user.
