Get a Zagg Invisible shield back only! Its top notch protection, doesn't do anything to the sleek look of the ipad and alleviates your paranoia of cosmetic scratches! Plus the added grip is a bonus!
The only bad thing is the difficulty of installation for first timers, I had to buy a second one, because no shop near me does installations. My second time went really good though-the tip here is to overuse spray EVERYWHERE, and if you run out, just fill it up with water and shake.
