We are a school about to purchase an initial set of 5 ipads (more to follow soon) and have decided to set them up with the same apple id so we ca sync them easily.
We are going to set up an itunes account on an apple laptop (mac book?) create the image and then sync the 5 ipads. The teachers will then be given the password so they can download any aps they wish. Before doing this i have a few questions people will hopefully be able to help me with:
1) if the a teacher downloads an ap using the shared apple id will this appear on all the other ipads? (if yes straiht away or when we syc next time?)
2) in the future we will want to set up another apple id for pupils. Can you run two apple ids/itunes accounts on one macbook?
3) does anyone have experience of using apple configurator? pros and cons?
