There's no way to bypass the password and access your iPad. If you remember your Apple ID and password, you can connect to iTunes on your computer and restore your iPad to factory condition. If your backups were made after you set up your password, you won't be able to set up your iPad from your backup and will have to set it up as a new iPad. Unfortunately this will mean that you will lose all data on your iPad and will have to redownload your apps from your purchased list.

You'll have to erase your iPad, and there are three ways to do so: use iTunes to restore it, erase it using Find my iPad, or through recovery mode.
