Youtube is the most popular video-sharing website, but there are plenty of iOS users who enjoy content with the Vimeo app on their iPhones or iPads. When Vimeo had updated their iOS app to meet the design language of iOS 7, the ability to search for videos got removed. Now, version 4.0.6 of the popular video-sharing service brings it back along with some other new features. Vimeo requires iOS 7.0 or later to be downloaded and it is compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

Besides the search feature, the ability to tap and hold video thumbnails to share or download has also been made available. Vimeo was founded in November 2004 by Jake Lodwick and Zach Klein and as of December 2013, attracts over 100 million unique visitors per month and more than 22 million registered users. If you’re an active Vimeo user, then go ahead and download it from iTunes on your iPads to enjoy your favorite video content.
