9to5 Mac reports that nearly one year after the release of the iPhone version of the Kickstarter app a new version has been released that includes full iPad support. The app’s design has also had a facelift.
Kickstarter says that just like the iPhone version of the app, the new iPad version enables the user to find new Kickstarter projects that take their interest and that hopefully they will want to back, and then receive updates on any particular project that they're following.
If you’re someone looking to create a Kickstarter project, then you can use the iPad app to post updates on your project, keep track of the project’s funding progress, and interact with your backers.
Kickstarter also published a blog post featuring Kickstarter’s iOS engineer Brandon Williams and product designer, Zack Sears, who talked about the experience of working on the updated app. Here’s what Williams had to say about why Kickstarter decided to make an iPad app.
