I received the new Ipad for Christmas. I have a screen protector and I'm wondering if that is the reason my screen is not crisp looking. The screen has a blurry effect.
I would take it off and see if it is any better. Did you get to see it before the screen protector was on, or was it on when you opened it? I think if you have a good case with a screen cover on it, screen protectors are unnecessary and take away from the experience.
The new iPad has a superb screen and should be very easy and crisp to the eye. Screen protectors are a personal choice, I use one myself but mine in no way makes my screen blurry. There are many different types of screen protectors available both in function and price, maybe you don't have the right one for you or it may not be a good one. Can you lift one corner to see if this makes a difference. A piece of sticky tape applied to the corner will lift it easily. If it does make a difference it is the screen protector, if there is no difference, it may be the screen. Defects are very rare but it does happen, a trip to your nearest Apple store will see this rectified. You will not need the receipt as all details can be looked up by Apple.
