    one of my favorite sites is new.familysearch.org. help

    Hi Linda, and welcome.
    The iPad doesn't support Flashplayer. Have a quick search on the forum for possible workaround apps.

    As suggested by Christiana, do a search regarding Flash. The subject has had a lot of discussion.

    As there are multiple threads on this subject, this one is now CLOSED.

    That ought to give you a better handle on why the iPad doesn't do Flash.
