I recently reset and restored my iPad 1st gen due to numerous crashes of Safari. I suspect the RAM problem, and will probably upgrade my iPad.
Problem is: When restoring my iPad after reset, my 3000+ photos were reloaded at a very low resolution, and many albums are missing altogether.
Additionally, any music I didn't buy through iTunes, but loaded myself, did not load and are missing. LOTS of music CD's etc.
I need to get this resolved before I can change devices (don't I?)
