Corrupted files are in "Other", which you can see in iTunes on your computer. To get rid of it, you'll have to use software, such as Phone Clean, or erase all content and settings and restore your iPad. If you do the latter, you'll end up with the latest software, which is iOS 8. It was released two days ago.
