Hey all I have had my iPad since they launched the "new" iPad or the iPad 3 as it is affectionately referred to sometimes. I love, love, love it! The ease of use is so great that I was finally able to convince my husband to give up his flip phone and go with the iPhone 4S and he has migrated over so well, couldn't be happier. I still have a droid phone but really don't use it except for calls and texting when the iPad is not by my side, which it is most of the time. That's my story and I'm sticking to it. I work in the IT field and am a windows user so there were some learning curves for me but the iPad and iPhone app is wonderful.

Hi there Jan and welcome.

There is lots of good advice and info on here plus plenty of members all too willing to help with any problems.

Remember, search is your friend. If you can't find the answer you need and you post a question then give as much info as you can to help members help you i.e. iPad 1 or 2, iOS version and name of app if the problem is with a specific app........and please don't forget to read the rules http://www.ipadforums.net/forum-rules-help-info/2119-forum-rules-everybody-please-read.html

These are the hacking section rules for all you jail breakers (and would be jail breakers) http://www.ipadforums.net/ipad-hacking/2892-hacking-section-rules-please-read.html

We also have an app for this forum. The link to download the app is: Discussion Forum for iPad Users for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad on the iTunes App Store

You can download the manual for your iPad here http://support.apple.com/manuals/ and in iBooks search for "iPad user guide for" and you will find free comprehensive manuals for both iOS 4 and 5.

If you have other Apple products or are interested in other Apple kit then why not join our sister forum too at http://www.appleforums.net/

hi,welcome to the forum.

Thanks. Where do I go on this site to find out how to access stuff I had in my iPod app before I updated my ipad2? I had down loaded a product on my iPod that read and reviewed the chapters from a published test prep program. I believe my update changed the iPod button to MUSIC button. I can not find my test prep material in that area. Was the test prep material lost when the iOS was updated? I found purchased apps in cloud but no test prep material. Can anyone help with this problem. My computer knowledge is limited at best and am brand new with apple products.
