[FONT=&quot]Fortune Tech’s Apple 2.0 blog reports today that according to a new survey from RBC Capital, which was held one week after Apple CEO Steve Jobs’ keynote speech at WWDC, Apple’s forthcoming iCloud service could launch with as many as 150 million subscribers, which would put Apple right up there alongside such heavy-hitters as Yahoo and Google/Gmail, with 300 million and 200 million subscribers respectively. iCloud would still have some way to go in order to beat Facebook, with 700 million subscribers, however. The projection is based on the way in which the 1,500 people surveyed responded to questions about iCloud, with 76% saying that they were likely to sign up for Apple’s free service when it arrives in the fall, and 73% saying they were likely to use iMessage, Apple’s version of BlackBerry Messenger. However, the response to Apple’s iTunes Match service was not quite so enthusiastic, with only 30% saying that they were likely to sign up for it, probably because it has a subscription fee of $24.99 per year.
