For those worried about the eBook / iBook pricing on the iPad should be able to breathe a sigh of relief. AppAdvice.com reports they were able to get a sneak peak of the iPad Bookstore and the pricing is much better then expected with majority of the books priced under $10. Currently 27 out of the 32 eBooks featured in the New York Time's Bestsellers section including the entire top ten were priced at $9.99. Very good news for Apple, bad news for Amazon and then Kindle. 1. Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang By Chelsea Handler – $9.99 2. The Help by Kathryn Stockett – $9.99 3. The Silent Sea by Clive Cussier & Jack Du Brul – $9.99 4. Missing (under negotiation?) 5. Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter by Seth Grahame-Smith – $9.99 [Source: Appadvice.com]
That IS good news! Every single one of 'em (so far) are the same price as Kindle. Now to evaluate the Kindle App & iBooks App to see which one is better!!!
I saw this the other day and im happy to see they will be reasonably priced. I'm guessing it will be something like $12-15 for new release and $7-10 for "paperback"
