Hi I just bought an ipad and I still don't know how to used it very well. I will be traveling to Italy in a week and I want to take it with me but I have doubts about the electricity converters/adapters. I bought a samsonite converter/adapter. Does this adapter works with my ipad or I nee to buy one of the apple traveling kit?

You don't need any converter as the iPad adapter works with any world voltage. You do have to make sure the plug will fit. Here in Europe, we use a plug with two round pins an inch or so apart. Most adapters work fine, but Apple sells a travel kit.
