How to UN-iCloud contacts and calendar, etc.?

So I set up the iCloud arrangement to sync my Windows 7 Professional desktop and Outlook items with my iPad, and I don't like the way it operates.

Can someone point me to the reversal process?

Go to settings
Go to iCloud
Turn off those items you wish to stop syncing with iCloud

Thanks. I tried that but have realized I asked the wrong question.

What I want it to do is default the various data back to the Outlook Today screen that shows the Calendar on the desktop.

As it sets up in iCloud, it copies everthing to a new cloud based data file that Outlook then accesses. I really dont have a problem with that except tht I have to scroll down to an iCloud data file to get to the calendar and tasks.

Is there a way to route the pointers so the iCloud data shows up in the Outlook home screen?

Hopefully I'm making this clear...
