how to transfer apps from ipad to itunes?

i had to reinstall my windows xp.
but now i can not to send my apps from ipad to itunes. i get always the Message to erase all data in my ipad because i connected my ipad to the new pc. with my old itunes account??? what should i do?

I think you should be able to get your apps on to your new computer and iTunes by right clicking on your iPad where it shows up on the left of the itunes screen, and clicking 'transfer purchases'.
