Hi! Like I said, I'm a computer neanderthal. The thing is, my son is 3, and because of him, I find myself shoved head first into this cyber world, and have to learn to swim, or die trying!
My husband has an old ipad and i have a new iphone. I set up a game center id on my phone, and when my son wanted to play with the ipad, I used my id there too. Now I want to change the id on the ipad, but keep the one on my iphone. Is this even possible? Will i lose all the data on the ipad if I change the id there?
    Can anyone help?

Welcome to the iPad Forum. Hope you enjoy your stay.

Sorry. Can't help with game center because I dont use it, but I wanted to welcome you anyway. Stick around. There are a lot of gamers here who know game center inside out.

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

I would say that the data belongs to the ID, so if you set up a new ID on the iPad you will need to start again but the data will stay with the ID on the phone. All guesswork here though.
