I'm an amateur classical guitarist and just got an iPad Air as a very welcome gift. I don't know much about iPads, but I'm learning slowly. At present, aside from the iPad, I've an a small iRig microphone, and a Korg Micro keyboard. Mainly, I intend to record myself, add a few effects, and that's it. The iRig mic is a bit inadequate, but it will have to suffice, for the time being. I do have a question.-Are there any better microphones available, that do not require an external power source? Perhaps battery powered? I'd like not to be dependent on a power outlet. anyway, hello to all. -Fernando.
