I was wondering if it's possible to tether your ipad2 to an IPhone 3GS 's hotspot to use its Internet connection? I was told its possible but haven't figured out how... Can someone provide step by step if it is?

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

Regarding your question, yes you can tether the iPad to your iPhone. On your iPhone in settings you will see Personal Hotspot, I have iPhone 3GS also, it's third from the top, go there and they will have some instructions on how to pair. Some carriers will charge for this service though, so if you can't find it this is why. You will then have to get in touch with them to activate it. I'm not sure but I think it may be about $20 per month. I hope this helps you.
