Help with itunes u

Hi there, i need some help if any can help me.
Got the i pad and have been strugling with this little hurdle for most of the day.
When i click on itunes it go's to "itunes u". I can't search for normal shows, music etc when i just got it. I don't know how i got it, is it perhaps that i created a account with out credit card details?

Any help plzzzz.

there should be a black bar at the bottom of the screen to change to Music store, Movies, iTunes U.

just dont select itunes u
