Help with Hp iPrint 3.0

Trying to print pdf's with this program. Both my iPad and iPod print, however, various lines are cut off horizontally (same lines). I have the same problem on two separate wireless networks with two different "compatible" printers. When I print the original file from my laptop to both printers over both networks it prints fine. The file was synced to using iTunes. Anyone have any thoughts on what might be causing the issue? (this happens with all pdf's I have, tried to troubleshoot with the same file)
