Help with Good Notes

I use Good Notes with my craft patterns so that I don't have to carry them with me. My question is when I bring the pattern up in Good Notes and I want to scroll to the bottom of the page it is automatically making a hilight mark. I need to know how to be able to turn the marking sytem on and off. I thought I knew how to do this but it has not worked so far.
