First of all if this post may not be put in here I appoligize.
But I don't know where to post this.

I am interested in buying a Ibook4 (no need to be new)

I found a dutch 2nd hand site where they sell an apple Ibook G3.

I never bought a Ibook online so I am interested in ur advice.
What to look for, how to know the right price?

    Thx in advance

It should probably be in the Off Topic section, since the iBook you are talking about has nothing to do with the iBooks app on the iPad.

That said, I'd probably go with eBay, and choose a vendor with a very good reputation.

As Twerppoet said, this belongs in the Off Topic section or alternatively at our sister site appleforums.net so I have moved it from the iBooks forum as that is a completely different type of iBook.

As to a G3 iBook, they are quite an old device now, the best it will run is likely to be OSX Tiger which means that you will struggle to load any of the latest software on it.
