Hello to everyone in this Forum. I'm not an Apple user with computers I prefer Windows and I know the big controversy about that
my son and I, who happens to love Apple Computers, we discuss it many times.I found after I built my first computer that I really loved it
the hardware that is. The present computer I'm running cost me about $3500 in parts and after I got it all together and running
running speed test on it and graphic speed and comparing it to computers sold commercially the computer I have worth about $6500.
On this computer I run a household server as well doing my personal work on it. I enjoyed the hardware part so much that now
I work on family and friends computers no labor all they have to do is buy the parts or I buy them in and reimbursed. Since I retired 14 years ago
I found myself bored just following my investments and TV so working on computers helps me keep busy.

I'm 59 years old and I first started in computers back in 1970. The first computer I ran was an IBM 360 in college. I went thru several computers
probably more than a dozen over the years. My present computer is a Windows 7 Ultimate, Intel i950 3.06 GHz, 24 GB of memory and
4.5 TB of internal disk storage.

I do have Apples iPad one, and four iPods two of which are 64 GB iTouch. And I love my iPod's and my iPad.

Other hobbies reading, continued education, radio controlled airplanes, stamp collecting and music. That's about it.

Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!

Hope to hear from you soon with your thoughts about the iPad.

Have fun and enjoy your iPad

If you don’t already have it you can download a copy of the iPad manual for free.
