Hello from kiwi land

I have just got a brand iPad 2 that I have only had for 4 days now and it was working really Gud until it started not opening apps and shuting down on its own like it's doing a hard reset very strange. I had spent out a but on buy apps like photoshop touch and sum dj and game apps and just last as I was searching on here trying to figure out it would be shuting down it went all crazy and these bright green lines started flickering all over the screen and then it just
Went black and come back on so I logged back in and all my apps that I had payed for where gone went to my iCloud
And they weren't there ethier had a look in the app store to see if they where still installed but it just had a price to re buy the app now it has full updates and everything and has never been dropped so if anyone could help please

This does sound very strange and to me points to a hardware issue. I would make an appointment at a Genius Bar at Apple about this. Maybe others have some better ideas.
