Hello and issue

Hi folks newbee here, thanks to all that contribute and allow me to learn the ways of the pad. I would like to inform the developers of the iPad app of an on going problem but I haven't found how to, in case you're curious; the app locks up when wifi connection is lost and it doesn't recover when signal is established, I have to remove it and re-install. All I get is a black screen, suggestions? Thanks...

Good to hear from you. You’ll find a whole bunch of iPad enthusiasts in this Forum who are only too willing to help other iPad owners and to hear of their experiences. Don’t be afraid to post any questions you may have or use the ‘Search’ button near the top of the Forum web page. I usually find I discover one new interesting and useful piece of information about my iPad every day - and often not even what I was looking for!!

I notice the problem you are having with a particular app - have you tried to power recycle the iPad by completely switching it off - by holding down the Power button until the slider control appears, accepting the offer to switch off and then, when the iPad screen has gone completely blank, pressing and holding the Power switch again until the white Apple logo appears. Once the iPad has powered up, try the app again and see if the problem persists.

You may want to tell us which app it is and any other information that might help troubleshoot the problem. Someone may also be able to tell you how to contact the developer if we knew the name of the troublesome app.

Hi guys, thanks. Yes Tim I tried the reboot but it didn't fix the problem I get the initial black screen non-responsive. The second time it was the same except that a 1/2sec flash of the Ipad forum logo would appear, like it was attempting to connect but nothing. The solution previously mentioned was the only solution.
TA the app in question is the iforum app for the iPad
