Hi,
I'm very new to all this. I got my I pad about 4 months ago. Am learning stuff everyday. This is my first apple product. My grandaughter was playing a game on it, and now I have a lock inside a circle with an arrow sign on the top right corner. I am hoping I can find out what it is.

Hello Lainy and a warm welcome to the forum. I'm guessing that when you tilt your iPad sideways the screen won't rotate.
OK, go into Settings, then tap on General, and where it says Rotation, click on Mute. Hope that helps. Check out that little button on the side which stops rotation of your screen. If that red dot is showing your grandchild accidentally shifted it. Slide it to on and give her a big kiss!!
