Hi all,

Thought I'd post on here to see if anyone else has had this problem. For some reason the hdmi adapter I have bought does not seem to work..It didn't work with my iPad 2 and now doesn't work with the new iPad. My friend has tried it on his sony tv and it works fine...I have tried it on my two Panasonic tvs and I get nothing. On the new iPad I get a message to say the accessory is not supported, but I have read on one of the forums that you just ignore this message and it will start to work. I still get nothing.. Wondering if it's a setting on the tv or something, but cant think what.

Appreciate any help

Paul

Is it an Apple HDMI adapter (or cable)? A lot of after market cables do not work.

Try another cable. I have had good luck with Amazon basic HDMI cables. The adapter apparently works if your friend got it to work. Assuming it is not your TVs then it cables must be a fault.

I got that error message from the new iPad whenever I use my Apple adapter, but it still works just fine.
