Free movies for download

Anyone know where I can get free movies to download?

I spend quite a lot of time in India every winter and BBC i-player is not available.
I would like to be able to download some movies to watch, but the apps I've tried so far are rejected by Safari.

If you're looking for newly released movies, you'll have to pay for them. BBC iPlayer has a global version available in the App Store outside the UK. I don't know, however, if it's available in India.

As a Scot I am not too keen to pay.
