facebook apps after upgrade ios 6

could anyone help explain to me , before ugrading to ios 6 , my facebook apps going well , receive notifications with sound , badges and so on . but after upgrading ios 6 , disaster!!! i didnt receive notifications and doenst make any sound if on e notification came. but this is weirdo , the new FB apps is version 5 , but everytime i check my version , it written 47423 . and i have been searching for others common problem , and yesss there is many people have the same problem. is this some kind of bugs? help me , i have tried uninstall and install it back several time. thx

Hi and welcome to the Forum!

Whenever your iPad is updated you should do a reset just so that everything settles in nicely.
Also check all your settings as apparently the update may have changed some. I haven't heard of any bugs as yet in FB but it too was updated on the 20th September and it's not until it is released that glitches may come to light. Getting in touch with the Dev is a good idea here to let them know what is happening if the reset doesn't fix the issue. A lot of apps will receive another update if any glitches are found.

Reset - Hold the power off button and the home button simultaneously, keep holding them in and you will see the power off slide appear and disappear, wait until you see the Apple logo appear before releasing the buttons. It will take a little longer for your iPad to start. Let us know how you go.
