External Hardrive options for iPad2??

Just wants to know what is out in the market for iPad2.!!

Now, when I think of the question asked, i.e. HD for the iPad, I'm thinking more like a USB connection and the ability to backup the iPad to the external HD - I know this is not as yet a possibility -

So, what does a Wi-Fi HD, like the Seagate add to the iPad experience beyond streaming media (whether audio and/or video) - just not sure if this is enough for me unless other tasks can be accomplished - just asking?

And I'd be quite curious if there are indeed other external HD options for this device - really hate using iTunes to back up my iPad -
