Notice since last update when I receive multiple messages I can delete trash the first one but second is archived. Why? How do I get rid of archived messages? Anyone having this problem?

I couldn't understand. Would you mind telling me regarding what app or thing are you having a problem?

You might have your e-mail set up to Archive your mail versus Delete it. At the bottom of the e-mail [view], do you see a box icon or a trash can icon? If it's a box, that means the mail is set for archiving (trash can means it'll delete).

To change it so your mail will delete - go to the "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" tab in your Settings app. Tap on your e-mail account (the one where you saw the box icon). Press the line at the top, in the box titled "Account" and you'll be taken to another tab. At the bottom of that tab, press the line titled "Advanced."

Once there, find the box titled "Move discarded messages into:" and tap the "Deleted Mailbox" line. Once it has a check mark next to it, press the button in the upper left ["Account"] and then pres the "Done" button in the upper right. This will save the change you just made.

This needs to be done for every account you have on the iPad [that shows the box versus the trash can icon].

Hopefully, this helps. If not, holler back and we'll take another shot at it.

Sorry didn't make myself clear. I have not made any changes in setting and my account t is set to delete no archive. When receiving
Same mail to more than one address I can delete the first message when I go up to delete the 2nd message the trash can is gone and my only choice is now archive. Trash bin is then gone. This happened with last update. I cannot trash the second duplicate. Essays.
