Hi guys, isn't there any way on iOS5 to set a default app to open certain types of files? For example, if I load any .docx file on my drive at dropbox, it will open into a native text viewer, and to open it at Quickoffice I have to export it and blablabla... Not a big deal, of course, but it would be much better if the file could be opened directly by Quickoffice... Any thoughts?

Thanks!

The short answer is no. There is no way to set default apps. At least not without jailbreaking. And even then I don't know if what you want to do is possible.

The longer answer is a question. Doesn't QuickOffice already have the ability to download files from DropBox? Many of the better apps do. No need to download them in the DropBox app first.
