Hey people,
I wonder if there is a solution for this common problem.
I want to use my iPad with an external audio interface which is connected with the CCK and a standard USB A -> USB B. Of course the iPad will not charge through the CCK.
I want to know, if there is a "hack" for that. I know, that this is possible on a few products for example Alesis iO Dock, Apogee Interfaces, iConnectivity MIDI2+ / 4+.
So, how to achieve this?
As far as I know the iPad needs to see the right voltages on D+ and D- to "allow" loading from +5V and GND. But I assume that D+ and D- are blocked by the used interface.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Chris
