bluetooth just wont work

So i paired my i pad version 4.2.1 with my sony ericcson vivaz phone... and it still wont work , it keep s coming up with cannot connect hope someone can help me please....

the bluetooth stack on the ipad does not support file transfer or other phone/ipad connections. It bascially is for headsets/earphones and keyboards.

Its a bluetooth connection..... why should there be paramemeters at all, apple still fail to delivers services, they propose to offer
