Hello and welcome to the forum! First, did you 'Reset' the iPad after your iOS upgrade? If not, then directions below if not familiar w/ the process. Second, this has been a common question here, so a search my be helpful. And finally, google 'iOS 7 battery drain' and there will be plenty of hits discussing the problem, such as THIS ONE. Good luck and let us know your results & solutions - will likely help others. Dave

Reset - press & hold the 'Power' and 'Home' buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears - this may take a longer time, so have patience; the iPad will 're-boot' - NOTE that none of these maneuvers will alter your apps, files, or settings.

Why is this iPhone phones always having battery problems?

Not really a few users have issues however it depends on how they use the phone. The same applies android smart phones

I know this from my experience.
Find out what drains your battery and eliminate it. Then it will last longer.
