Ipad will not connet on cellular - upper left hand has AT&T E, What is AT&T E?

Actually, it's not too bad as long as you're not downloading lots of graphics-intensive pages. And it should connect just like it was 3G.

It means you are in a location that doesn't have ATT 3G coverage, but does have the very much slower Edge coverage.
